Friend list will indicate where your friends are (online/offline/at specific game or location) and it will also notify you via PM when your friend enters or quits the game, starts new game, etc.

Can there also be an "avoid" list, as I've played with a few folk who I'd prefer not to play again, such as players who hang back in a team battle and let their team mate (me) wear down the enemy 😡.

Thought that was a bad mate... try someone that sticks with you... literally shoulder to shoulder. I've written down those names that do it. It's a stupid tactic to pull since many weapons can hit multiple targets!
