This happened to me 2 times until now:
We start a new game with >2x2 players, after some time, i get dc'ed,
I try to reconnect, it displays the message:
Data sent: waiting for response ...
and it doesent connect. I tried restarting the pc, the game the Internet connection, all has the same result. At the time the problem exists all internet activity is normal from my pc. After some time (unknown how much) i can connect again. All the time the problem exists, game connects to update server normally.

To me is almost this...
Usually, when i a am disconnected, in my first try to enter again, i cant. So, I close all and open again. Then, i can enter again. Soemtimes i can enter in my first try, but is very difficult. I donw know why, but is very bad, because sometimes we can back in time to play and this dont let. ☹

when server is down, this is obvious, right
but yesterday, i had same problem as BigSexy just described. i was playing with mercenary and i couldnt connect for very long time. he said, that he was waiting for me, but after some turns, game ends, and i lost it. at the time when i couldnt conntect, server was working normally. during that attempts, my internet connection was fine

I'm new to this game and I have some problems with the server connection . I tried to play the game and evry time I get a connection lose. Can someone tell me why?

Looks like you haven't opened ports or opened wrong ones or it conflicts with your antivirus software. Try to disable antivirus software and open following ports:
12101
12110
12111
12112
Also, those ports might be closed on your provider's side so call their tech support and ask about it.

hey i got that problem too...just that i cant even log in in the 1st place
it's stuck at "Data send, waiting for response". and sometimes it just disappear but the game doesnt start
