Match time limit
Please, please, please can we have a match time limit .
Just had a 1v1 match with STARS got down to 1 on 1 i have over 100hp he is almost dead so he runs ok i think he is checking boxs then he gonna fight
i have 5hp regen and was soon back at full hp but it took me 1hr to finaly kill him maybe a 15min, 30min, 60min time limt could be added to create match
then the player with the higher % of health left takes the win. This would also see some desperate tactics to turn the match ur way at the end of time limit.

There's been quite a push for something like this. However... it makes more sense for a "sudden-death" idea, like a shrinking map. There have been suggestions for shrinking map, 1 HP S.D., and time limits. But the last 2 options favor runners and campers.

That would make things too favorable for units that carry long range weapons like sniper rifles, Machine Guns, even Rocket Launchers. It would also make it very, VERY hard to plan an ambush because you would know where everyone is and that's where the fog helps speed the game along.

yeah, so far best idea i have heard for those kind of players is shrinking map (for example map is making smaller each turn over 5 without shoot)
or just simply play king of the hill 😉

with the shrinking map what would happen to units in the shrunk area... Most likely they would be shoved in the direction to the middle. If there's something like a house in the way... they'd get squished (like in a video game... that means death).

If there's something like a house in the way... they'd get squished (like in a video game... that means death). u could highlight the area that is going to dissapear the round before then it would be up to the player to move his units in and if any are left on the highlighted area at the end of that round they are killed. (squished)☺

If there's something like a house in the way... they'd get squished (like in a video game... that means death). it would make the game more challenging but will be hard to find a spot to stay most best would be in the middle but everyone would go there

it would make the game more challenging but will be hard to find a spot to stay most best would be in the middle but everyone would go there A simple time limit option (without any fanciness like a shrinking map or automatically reducing hitpoints -- that's overkill) for games is a very good idea. If at least one player from both sides is still alive by the end, the game either ends in a draw, or the team that inflicted the most damage wins.
The trouble with some games is that they just go on too long, and the option for time limited games easily solves that problem.
