last game i played in my girlfriends acc when i killed 2 guys of the enemy he quited and the i found the last guys backpack and there was 2 beautifull artefacts a stacked Pm Makarov and a Godly Steyr TMP, when my turn finished battle ended got my experience and guess what? yes thats right! no artefact in my guys backpack! nice huh?

I've been hearing this a few times over the past few days... but that's the most painful story so far. I think that there's something to do with a "quit" and not a disconnect that's causing this issue. Hopefully someone's already looking into this by now. If not... there should be!
