Fake Fighting!
Hi there admins!!!
I've been playing some people with very high stats lately, and for some reason, they don't seem to be as good as their stats indicate.
Which brings me to believe some of them use this "fake-fighting" thing.
So my question is, how can I know which of them do it, and how do you guys catch those who use it?
Thanks.

I look at their records and their kills/deaths. For example someone with 100 win and 10 loses, their deaths might be around 35. This is a prime example of fake fighting, because in their 10 loses they had 30 total deaths which leave 5 left. Only 5 deaths in 100 wins? I dont think so ☺ (fake fighter)
So, in conclusion, i suggest comparing their deaths with their loses numbers and see how many deaths they have for their total wins.

You mean the 35 is the number or units death right? but how can you tell how many died in defeats and how many in victory?

yes 35 is total deaths overall.
when you are defeated you have 3 dead units - so i multiplied the deaths per game with the loses...
3x10= 30 deaths
35 total deaths - 30 = 5 deaths for wins
Many people have records like this - i still play them cause they suck, but it would be best to avoid playing these players in team games in case you get cheated.

Of course, I see what you mean now. Yes, 5 deaths in 100 victories is very suspicious indeed.
However, there is another option: there are several accounts around which only fight when they are 100% sure they are going to win. These kind of accounts sometimes are legitimate.

Aye, you will just have to use your best judgment with this information. Clearly, it's possible to win 100 games with 5 deaths, just highly unlikely.
I am not sure how the Admins spot fake fighting, but i think they can pretty much do anything as far as observation and statistics. For example, if you play a really long game with a team that has a lot of regen, you can really stack up the XP into the thousands with just a single game. Admins no doubt review the specifics of those games.

I try not to get caught up with the stats on each player. I focus more on the level and the skill level of each player, i try everyone at least once. Also, keep in mind some players are easier for me to play against with my spec.

Thing is, equipment is limited, and at the higher echelon of the game, you get beat once and lose your best equip, it's very hard to compete then(unless you got some encord cash).

It ain't necessarily due to fake fighting. Some players just pick on the weak, hiding machineguns in underpants and assembling games where they have 99.99% of win chance. Though they have no honor (IMHO), but still they don't break rules. But where's problem? They're just bunches of free xp with legs on higher levels, after all πŸ˜‰

I'm almost 100% sure you have me in mind to. Well, I used to have 30 wins and 0 losses, everyone tought i'm really good, the secret was artifact item, ut it broke out and boom i'm losing all now 😁 And i'm sure many other people have same thing. Fake fightning isnt always the reason.

Not everyone has the option to do this , I don't have acces to a credit card, so i'm forced to wait untill something like pay by sms is launched ☹

And not everyone is interested in doing this... When you create a game you must decide upon your business plan, someone decide to have games with monthly subscription fees, like WoW. Others decide to create free games with microtransaction and/or donate options.
If you decide to create a microtransaction game you should never expect everyone to be "paying-customers", otherwise you are making a huge mistake.
If you force everyone to pay to be able to have a fair chance in the game you will maybe get 200 loyal paying-players. But if you make a balanced game where paying gamers are not in any way and all the time owning non-paying gamers you will maybe get 4000 players. And even though maybe only 10% of these use the microtransaction option you will still (in this example) earn twice as much money!
More players = more fun. E.g. because of less waiting time when creating a game, possibilities to create more game modes, camps etc. And the high number of players attracts even more players, and this earns even more money for the creators. But the server/hosting costs will of course also increase with the number of players.

If there is no advantage of using cash shop then no-one will use it all and GUNROX will make no money.
Plus cash shop players make mistakes too then the lovely weapons they have got get shared out into the game community of paying and non paying players .
No cash shop players = less high power weapons in all matches..
Everything i have got from cash shop gets lost after 2-5 matches and other players pick them up to use or to trade.
You usually get much better equipment from looting than u will ever find in boxes.

luke1976: Basically I think that we agree... I don't say that there should not be an advantage when you buy stuff, of course there should. But it should not be impossible (or very hard) for a non paying-player to win over a paying-player solely because he has used money in the game. And I don't think that the game is currently suffering from that problem. I have at least not at any time felt owned because another player had bought stuff, luckily there are a lot of crates on the maps so even a completely naked player has got a fair chance against an opponent at the same XP level.
