Some tips for new players
Plan out your perks carefully! Otherwise you may end up having to restart, they start to make a big difference in higher levels. (I've had to do this) Look at the bigger picture by planning out which "big" perks you want that have high requirements but make your soldiers much better.
The grenade launchers and heavy machine guns are great weapons and have high firepower/good range/ spread but to make the best use of these weapons you need to surprise your enemy and hit groups of his soldiers with each shot you also need specific perks to unlock them.
If your a non-cash shop user it may be better to not have three people that use the same weapon, you will have a better chance of having weapons for each of your characters this way...
Traps medkits and grenades are good but can be expensive to use every game
Some guns use more ammo then others, be aware of how much ammo you have and check between each game you play, on the same note if your guns or amour are red they are about to break. If they break in the middle game you could be in trouble!
BR? Is a Brazilian players asking if you speak Portuguese. You can go on babbelfish and learn a few phrases to help communicate in team games if you are paired with someone who doesn't speak english.
Aim to play games with people with in three or so levels of you either higher or lower otherwise perk/weapons skills start to make to much of a difference.
As far as primary and secondary weapons go there are many to chose from that are all good. Keep in mind you most likely want something for short range and long range. Assault/Shotgun is a popular and good choice but anything can work find what fits your style. The only "bad" choices might be two long range weapons, A sniper rifle and a rocket launcher would leave you with no way to attack close distance, don't pick two weapons that fill the same role.
You can't melee through windows but you can shoot through them, try not to end your move in front of a window instead look out the window if you see someone shoot and then move away from it so the enemy can't return fire.
Sometimes instead of shooting as much as you can it is better to shoot once or twice and take cover. If you can shoot someone three times or you could shoot twice and then take cover the second option is usually much better.

Thanks to luke1976:
If you get your secondary skills such as grenades/healing/traps high enough you can start with these items naked and in addition if your trap level is (10 I think) higher then your opponent you can see his traps and shoot them.

Don`t forget about skilling up ur secondary items like grenades, healing and traps, the last one being very important in being able to spot enemy mines and when u get high enough in these skills u get them when starting naked.

I discovered that if someone is "br" they might speak portuguese, so this might be helpful if you need to say something to a guy that lives in a country where english is forbidden:

Play and learn the game. When you've learned enough, you'll probably want to start a new account, and develop it better.

You don't have to. You can just move the skillpoints and perks around if you feel like it.
