Disconnection - problem and soution
Disconnection SUX
I am sick and tired of the fact that disconnecting a game for 2 minutes means that you lose game+all items.. get mad and dont want to play again.
this is so frustrating !!! you lose game and more important all of your good items because of bad connection for 2-3 minutes ?????
The solution
when a player discconects for the first time in a game. STOP the game for 3-4 minutes and give him time to come back. in the second time - STOP for 1 minute. after that no more STOPPING (so if there is such a bad connection for that player , there is no point to waste other players time)
once they player comes back from disconnection ... the game resums in the same moment that it was stopped (same player turn...and time to finish turn).

i agree that the game should pause, but only for the very first time they disconnect and only for 1min,otherwise it could cause frantic comments while the players continuosly wait for them to reconnect
so really im kinda 50/50 on this one ☺

disconnect happens with quality internet too... It happens rarely but very dissapoints! Especially when you`re going to recieve 1500 - 2000 xp)
Of course disconnection helps to win sometimes))) But it`s unfair

It's a bad suggestion. Why should other players in the room have to suffer because of your problem?

Sometimes its not a problem of your internet just the way betwen you and Gunrox server, maybe only one router on this way is now restarted ?

I think its a good idea... This approach is also used in ALL poker games.
But I think it should be like:
1th disconnect: Wait for 2 minutes.
2nd disconnect: Wait for 1 minue.
3rd and so on: Don't wait anymore.
And by 2nd I mean both if the player disconnects for the second time during one game, but also if he disconnects and is still disconnected when he gets his turn for the second time.
I have only disconnected once and that was when I played on a wireless connection, if you play using a cable-connection you should experience this very rarely.

I play using cable...and it happened to me at least 3-4 times.
disconnection happens to everyone...its a part of life. can happen from many reasons and makes the game unfair at this moment.
since a player turn lasts about 1 minute , than the waiting time for disconnected player is negligible.
other players can wait 2 minutes for games that somtimes take hours to finish. its worth the wait instead of ruin a game and losing all items for 1 or more players (if your team mate disconnects..good chance you will lose).

How about a system that auto attacks when you disconnect?
the only thing more annoying than disconnecting and losing for it, is when you play team match and your ally disconnects.. When that happens you not only lose the match, you actually keep playing helplessly, just waiting to get killed more or less..
Only thing bad about this idea is players who will abuse it, get into team-matches and then disconnect their internet, hoping they might win and get xp without even playing..

nice suggestion.
i havent dc problems, but sometimes i need some time (what a sentence : P )in the game,
(especially in games that last a long time)
so it may be useful

in one game i did wait for other player (i skipped turn) after that he was granted free one (i never get free turn after DC). i told him that i was waiting for him, but he great used 2 of his turns in row, and i lost. that was last time i done such a thing
in team games, i think best idea is to give control of DC'ed player units to most experienced player in same team (higher amount of exp).
#1. easy to program (no AI scripts making)
#2. definetly fair (no more losing games couse of DC)

my wife was sleeping and i wanted to wake her up, so i started to shake her, but she havent been moving, then i was shouting, but still no reaction. after that i started hitting her head nearby wall, till her brain come out and splash all around. end of story
