I was just playing an interesting game, (my teammate didn't bring weapons and I was still killing the enemies☺ ) but then out of the blue, a red txt came up that server is going down. And shortly the game ended :/
Communicating and informing clients on upcoming changes is cheap and in the same time valuable. As in, it doesn't take a lot of effort to do it and players/clients will be happier.
I appreciate that you are improving the game, but consider telling about these downtimes in advance. Like for some hours or days (not seconds) before the server goes down there could be a repeating announcement telling how much time there is for shutdown. And there could be a news item on the front page of gunrox and/or the forum.

i agree however the last minute repeat message thing i have seen several times in many different games and here's a few things i have to say bout it:
1. its not original and dosent really make the game stand out (lol 😁)
2. some people (not me thankfully) dont really like a spamming message saying to them the server will shut down when they are just about to get their butts kicked 😝
but the rest of the ideas i say go for it ☺

hard not to agree ;d probably planning reset day before is impossible, but giving half hour to end started games (and maybe dont let those who cant read start new ones😁) is reasonable compromise and should work in 99,9% cases ;d
