I would like to propose to enable missions in Gunrox.
Examples of missions :

  • fight opponent with higher level
  • fight naked game
  • use "capture the flag" scenario
  • collect artifacts
  • fight battle with more than 4 opponents...
  • ...and with more than 2 teams at once
  • use certain kind of weapon (mine, grenade...)
  • play more games per day (e.g. "you have to win 3 battles within 24 hrs" ;-)
  • etc....

Completing mission would be payed with extra experience points, rank upgrade or ribbons (which would be ev. implemented).

I think that Gunrox with missions would be even more attractive for players, and would give Enkord some additional possibilities to control game / stimulate usage of its functions.

And more - there could be also missions for clans.

I think this is an excellent proposal. It would be fairly easy to implement and would add a whole new element to "advancement" in Gunrox. It would generate more reasons to play games with others that aren't an "easy win". And take some of the focus of "grinding" to the next level away.
I also wanted to mention that of all the suggestions I have read and heard about, I have agreed and been most impressed with Golota's suggestions.
I will make another post in the autoQue thread but i also second this idea. I think work should begin on this so that when there ARE 1000+ members, it can be implemented fairly quickly. There is a similar game out there that does this VERY effieciently.

Pretty much, I would go with it... perhaps special EXP bonuses for achieving them the very first time. Some of them should be special targets that are assigned as random "Secondary Missions" that don't have to be accomplished but give a small EXP bonus if accomplished. Dunno how that's going to be coded though...

Will do!
Double/Multi kill : Kill 2 or more units in one turn.
Living on Life Support: Win a game with one unit at or less than 10 HP (only for those above level 10).
Master of Disaster: Hurt yourself with a critical hit for more than 50 damage AND STILL WIN THE GAME.
Killtacular!: Log more than 7 kills in a game.
Lively Combatant: Attacked at least once per turn after finding an enemy unit.

Ok, I post some requirements - achievement mustn't be easy to achive. Also achivement must be farm-resistant.

Well achievements could have levels. And the first one could be easy to do, and the next ones not so easy ☺
example: killing 2 enemy units during one turn could give level 1, killing 3 level 2, and so on. Well maybe killing enemies during turn doesnt become one of the achievements you are thinking of but still you get the idea.

Achievements need to be made as "unfarmable" as possible...however that is very tricky.
I really like the idea though and I hope it is seriously looked at. ☺
