Question for Bers/Astor
i have a question addressed to bers or another HIGH ranking mod like Astor or Onetower..... well two questions that is.
1. Me, Lil_God, and Red_Ranger did a 3x5 the other day vs Late from our clan, and 4 other random clan members, now take in mind it was the other teams desicion to want to move late to their team and fight against us. Well Late goes to their team, but comes with low graded weapons (not his usual, because he didnt trust his team, and he didnt want to loose any good gear). Well to make a long story short My team won, and we were called fakers, Why is that, they readied, it was their choice to have the fight like that to begin with, Late declared before fight was made that he would go with low gear, and still they fought.....
2. I was recently informed that M3y3r and Luke1976 got banned early this morning, and from my opinion was because meyer was stunned and couldnt shoot Luke and kill him, so he ran back, Now keep in mind M3y3r is lvl 33 and luke was 24 so there was a 9 lvl difference, Meyer came in battle with ammo only to make it sort of more fair to Luke. I understand Bers took the ban away, and i thank him for that, but what i dont get is: are we allowed to fight out own clan, and if so do we HAVE to come fully geared. Chicken is a friend of mine, but i think he is having a bit of a power trip. Please let me know if i am allowed to fight my own clan, or if i will get banned for doing so.

Regarding issue #2 - you are working on secondhand information, be careful what you say about me - It is natural for you to defend your clan, but don't do it at your own expense... Also, they are still guilty of faking (not sure if it matters to you or not), they simply had their penalties reduced.
For the record, playing "ammo only" is not ok, it is an abuse of the XP system. Because of this, berserker had to implement a new bonus XP system. Now, playing ammo only simply prevents you from starting with your guns (and 21% bonus).
You cannot make a game "more fair" by playing unarmed purposely, the XP rewards have already been adjusted accordingly. There are great rewards for defeating a player 9 levels ahead of you, as there should be.

I guess this is what he is trying to say. He played with ammo only exactly to prevent starting with weapons to give more chance due to level difference.

This could be prevented easily. Since the program already tracks the amount of starting gear, just make it so that you cant start a game if the setup is illegal.

Rules
So just to get this clear is it against the rules to go in ammo only to make a game more balanced or play a fungame. 😕
Also we only play this way on memo where weapons are easily found so the game is never too one sided and has an element of luck so in fungames we do not know what tactics our clanmates must use. 😎

Oh yes and 3 ammo stacks gets 48 percent xp bonus u get xtra xp for having equipped units.

Yup, he's right. However, be aware that naked fights and "ammo only" fights tend to be more watched. Usually fully equipped players have no "intent" of losing. So I would bet the farm that 99% of all fakes happen with "naked" and "ammo only". My recomendation for you (everyone) is to always play fully equipped.

That is not really an option if you aren't a regular shopper. Plus it feels a waste to trhow away your best gear if you are just playing against a clanmate or other friend you can trust, so why not just agree to come with some leftover gear? The playing pleasure still stays the same because there is challenge for both.

That choice is yours to make. However, if you are struggling to beat someone 9 levels up on you, I recommend playing someone closer to your level (rather than requesting them to go "ammo only"). It is a bit risky to play games "ammo only" with clanmates and others (In the eyes of the moderator - see above post about what kinds of games mods watch). Playing "naked" seems to be a great problem solver, but "ammo only" sounds ridiculous to many people.

I recommend playing someone closer to your level
Well now we got to the heart of the problem. The experience penalty you get playing someone even 2 levels lower than yourself is huge. And playing someone 2 levels above your level doesnt sound like a brilliant idea either. So optimally, I'd stick to playing against people who are +-1 levels from mine. There are currently 12 players in the whole game who fall within those levels for me, and many of them are inactive, not online same time with me or on my ignorelist for being untrustworthy etc. And the number just keeps getting smaller the higher level I get.
It is very hard to get a game going with the limited amount of players we have. And everyone who log in usually still want to play the game right? Now comes in the only way we can at least make the game more interesting even if the higher level player has no chance to gain xp anyway: having no, some, or poor gear to adjust handicap setting.

Yes so the only choice is mega`s which can take nearly as long to set up as to play or our fun games naked/ammo only. ☹

You can play whatever games you want, can't understand what's the fuss is all about? Naked games are legit as well as ammo-only. Starting conditions does not make the game fake, actions of players do.

You may ask me. As berserker said, the starting conditions do not make the game fake, it is the actions of the players... That should answer your question regarding the "actions" of M3y3r and Luke1976. I did in fact, watch much of the game, and I had seen enough to take disciplinary action.
