What about adding other levels/elevations to the battlefield
I was wondering if on advanced maps things like sewers could be added or second stories to buildings and such. Sewers could add another dimension to the battlefield and would make battles possibly more interesting as they could be used to bypass enemy defenses. On the other hand adding second levels to buildings or elevated positions could offer some interesting line of sight challanges. For example if I were firing up at someone who was on the roof of a building than maybe I could only hit them if they were within two or three spaces from the edge of the building or maybe higher elevations could add a small damage bonus to the attack damage of the people on this elevated ground. Or their sight could be increased a couple of squares. There are many possibilities for something like this.
Granted there would be much discussion in how they could be implemented but it would add another dimension to the game of Gunrox.

We're trying to keep this game as simple as possible. This does sound like a very interesting gameplay mechanic, but it's somewhat confusing to the newer players on how high ground offers more vision or some other bonus. So it's not a likely candidate for the "to-do" list. Speaking of "to-do"... when are we getting the achievement system Berserker? We already have the prep work underway with background stuff, so it can't be too far off, right?
