Before suggesting something that will look "cool" make up a tactical niche for such weapon, define how it will be significantly different from existing weapons and how much fun will it add.

I believe I already introduced this idea a while back... - a low impact damage weapon with wide spread, mid range (1-7 wider than shotgun) - damage would be 5-10 plus an increasing damage counter each turn (5, 10, 15, 20) and this can be prevented by putting the armor on the ground (Notorious added this revision) - however being burned without armor on... You cannot stop the burn, so choose wisely when to take it off. (we may also want to add a fire resist perk and... melee weapon torch for other "count up" fire damage...

That said, maybe there could be special items, that arent really any different from normal items but they would just look funny. They would be just some rare collectibles you could find and collect for collectings sake ☺

I will simplify it for you berserker - i would like to make this work (for the future) - may I ask which was complicated? adding another factor to resist or the counter? (which is reverse poison already) - please keep in mind that this is not supposed to be close quarters with spread damage - this is supposed to be a ticking time bomb... we can set a different range and spread if that will suit your needs...

All of the above is complicated and the most important part - completely unnecessary. Addins single parameter will increase complication of whole system and will take way more time to ballance it.

There are a lot of possible feature that can be added. Some of them have almost no influence at core mechanics (new areas, achievements, clan perks) and others change core mechanics heavily (weapons, gameplay abililities like 2-layer maps, etc). We are open to suggestions about first groups but you must understand that there is no point in adding stuff from second group cause such features must be added on design phase and carefully tested since beta. I don't want to turn this game into overwhelming havok. I want it to be simple, but varied enough. There is absolutely no significant reason for adding new weapon types. The only argument you can possible make up is "it will be fun". It might be fun or it might not, but one thing for sure - it will break current game ballance and we will have to start retweaking everything from scratch instead of working on other more important things that will really add more value.
I wonder if someone could compile a FAQ, especially on suggestions, cause we are returning to the same questions over and over.

Why cant you see list of all perks nowhere ingame? I know there is one faq about it but nobody is updating it anymore, and if you could see the true info ingame then there would be no need to update a faq about that anyway.

flame thrower could be in the energetic weapons list.its effects:burn down flamable stuff (including units) and once u get close to those burning things,u also get included,it has turn time maybe 5 turns and it dissapears and it also damages,and this is where water comes in.water can make the fire dissapear

Maybe so, but it doesnt mean there is no demand for a good faq. I like to read the full list of perks every time I play gunrox and try to figure out possible synergies between them.
