I downloaded and installed the gunrox more when I go to upgrade, get an error "updating failed. Updatelog.txt See for details"

I've reuploaded installer with more recent one. Try to uninstall the game and download installer again:
www.gunrox.com
BTW please tell me on which system did you experienced such problem and whether you were running the game under administrator or not.
