Making rank count!
the problem with rank currently is that it doesn't really mean anything.
a player can be a good competitor who chooses tough fights and loses a lot, and have a bad rank, or a player can be a total noob and play only 100% wins, to gain a good rank.
if anyone has any suggestions about how changing it would make it better, lay down your thoughts here! maybe bers and astor will have a look ☺

What do you think about a calculation like the comming tournament:
If you hit an opponent you get rankskill=(hitpoints* opponentlevel)
example: hit 52*lvl 20 = +1040
If you wounded by opponent you will lose rankskill= (your level * hitpoints)
example= you level 15 and get wounded by 50 you lose 750 rankskill.
If match is over like this example you get 1040-750= 290 rankskill.
Bonus/penalty skillsoption while kill:
If you kill a unit you get bonus rankskill level * 100.
For example you earn 2200 bonus rankskill if you kill an unit of player level22.
If you lost a unit you get an extrapenalty of your level * 100.
Complete example:
Player 22 against player 19.
Player 22 kill all units of level 19 (health 200, 200, 200)
Player 19 kill 2 units (health 220, 220) and hit the last unit (150)
Player 22
positive 19*((200+200+200)+(100+100+100))=17100
negative 22+((220+220+150)+(100+100))=17380
This match level 22 will win but get negative rankskill 280.
Level 19 will lose but earn positive rankskill by 280.
the rankskill will define your rank. For example:
rankskill -> rank
0-1000 Recruit
1000-3000 Private
3000-5000 Private First Class
5000-7000 Corporal
7000-10000 Sergeant
...
