I think the mine damage is not included in the experience calculation for a fight.
I was fighting 1x1 with bersektor, and in the end of the fight on the victory screen it said i did 450 damage and awarded 358 experience. I went to details and it said damage done 358 - experience 358 (we were same level and both armed).
In that fight i used 2 land mines, both hit. One of the land mines hit his unit and mine together (i took 17 damage from it). I didn't inflict any more damage than that on myself. Both my mines hit my opponent for around 40 damage.
Could you please verify if mine damage is/should be included in the experience calculation?

looking at damage in main report and detailed report in other fights now i notice it's always like this. Damage that is done with mines does not ad in the experience calculation ☹

Well spotted, very annoying bug which hopefully is fixed soon. Must have lost a lot of xp throughout the levels...

Maybe just the damage of your own turn is counted. This would also mean poisen is maybe disregarded.
And for sure blindness and stun is also disregarded.

Any chance of this bug being fixed and mine damage giving xp in the next update? A bit pointless having mine skills as it is now.

here's what i've noticed - in the battle summary, damage you do against your own units *is* counted under damage given. HOWEVER, if you go to the details tab, you'll find that it's not calculated into the experience given (and rightly so).
I found this out the hard way during the most embaressing battle i've ever played - wasnt paying attention at all, and M60'd myself for 92 hp :/

it would help to actually read before responding. i know damage done vs self is shown in total and isn't in detailed. I also know when i don't damage myself.

In addition, this was a lone example and i now notice that this is always the case Berseker, mine damage to enemy units is not included in the detailed report, and is not counted in for experience.
Of course there is no way for me to prove it without you testing it for yourself but i will post the report from my last battle.
There is roughly a 130 damage difference from total and detailed. I used 2 mines one hit for a critical of 80+ other hit for it's regular 40-50 something. I did not hit myself with any of my shots or mines, so no damage was vs my own units at all in this battle.
The experience is based on the damage shown in detailed screen + what appears to be rank difference bonus. So all in all it looks like the damage i do with mines is not awarding me with any experience.
If that's not the case please explain why it appears like that? I see this in every battle i use mines, and when i don't use mines (or enemy don't get hit with my mines) the numbers add up perfectly.

If one mine damages other mine or if you shoot the mine it adds to damage done but awards no experience.

when i lay a mine and enemy unit steps on it it still doesn't count in the damage report. i'm taking 2 mines into a fight every fight and it's very easy to notice the differences when my mines come into play and when they don't. Mine damage is not counted.
In the screenshotted report, the 80+ crit mine detonated when enemy unit stepped on it. the other mine i planted neer enemy and detonated when i shot thumper on the enemy. So 130 damage (exp) gap is still too big to explain that.
Please just test it in action ☹ i volunteer to be the guinee pig, since i observed this in all the fights i used mines.
