Suggestion: Shooting Range
The suggestion is to create a special fight same as "/tutorial" where players can enter using a special command of the same type.
The shooting range would be pretty much same as tutorial with one exception - player enters it with their own equipment, and find themselves in a shooting range with their 3 units (equipped as they are in inventory) and 3 dummies 3000 hp each.
Players will complete map by killing the dummies or quitting with no penalty same as tutorial.
Dummies armor value would be 0 so the weapon damage will be unaffected by anything except the units' skills.
No obstacle would prevent units from approaching the dummies (to 0 range) to enable tests for all types of close range weapons.
On completion the game would be treated as aborted game so no ammo/attrition is reduced and no effects (blind, stun etc..) counted toward player's achievements.
The reason behind this suggestion is to enable players to test their new weapons in a static situation to better know what to expect from them in a fight. Useful for critical unit builds, and other kinds of weapons with variance in damage/range.

Yes, I remember the first time I got to use RPK I had no idea it had minimum firing range which costed me a couple of them and some other stuff.
