Ok so I was taking a look at some builds and there's a huge variety but I started wondering, what about submachine guns? Fake and Gay? Or an acquired taste? Player LUSE wrote on "Who has the best build" Topic that she used. "P90/ Bomber/ 14 AP / RedMed" So Subs can't be an entire scam, what do you think about Submachine guns and how would you play em? Would you go for lots of SubMachineGun Mastery Perks to unlock quickly and worry about health later? Would you unlock 14 APs or just 13 AP because of the massive Cargo Loss? Would you use it as primary? or use it as secondary weapon to a sniper rifle? A submachine gun / grenadier does not sound bad at all, adding melee to it is contradictory because a Submachine gun is pretty good in short range, but melee has Stun capacity. What about Colt633, it looks like a regular low-mid level assault rifle. Range 1-9 tiles, not bad damage somewhere between 30-40 (iirc) but it won't miss as often as assault rifles. How does a Sub compare to an Assault Rifle? Sure Assault Rifles do a lot of damage, but when you get to Sig you need 5 APs to shoot, so that means even with 14 APs (which you wont couple with an Assault Rifle) you can only shoot twice at best, and don't forget Sig's range is 5-11.5 cells. So rushing a Sig/Aug with a P90/Colt633 is not really that hard. Anyway, the question is.... HomeRnDrby1	Reply to Lt-Threshold I personally find SMGs to be more around the "backup primaries" rather than full-blown primaries or secondaries. They don't have the damage output of an AR/SR/MG/SG, but they're much more reliable and can take out weak targets with little issue at longer ranges. Something that I'm not going to dare try but, have you seen the amount of distance a shotgun/SMG unit can cover with *16 AP*?! 15 years ago Quote	15 years ago Quote
