Set Map layouts for megas
I was wondering if there is any chance of getting some set layouts for the 2 big maps Junkyard and Memorial. This would mainly be for megas or large team games 3x3 and larger. My reason for asking this is that alot of megas are decided by the layout of the map and your teams starting positions.
In 1v1 this does not happen because u have a few turns to take the positions you want. Most PvP games offer a couple of set maps like this. Maybe 1 with a building in the centre so at the end of red zone its not like shooting fish in a barrel and another with buildings on each side both with set starting positions for players so that both teams start with an even field. I will try to make a few maps as example and post them here and if u have any ideas to add pls post a reply.

Great idea and maybe simple to solve. Sounds like a upcomming mapcontest.
Btw. i noticed the problems of bad maps without objects and many aborted megas because of this. But i also wonder why nobody choose the KtoH-Option for megafights. I believe the new center-area could help to find some hiding positions with maximum redzone.

The different builds of the players would mean that every game is different and im not asking for removal of random map generation just the option for a couple of set maps or even random maps that have some slight structure like a building in the middle of the map or maybe set cover on either side and random generated objects around it. It can be really annoying when the last 2-3 2hr + megas your team had no chance due to a bad map. You already have a similar system for Koth so would not be hard 2 add the game.
Like i said before the random map is great for 1v1 2v2 , but the bigger team games you dont have the same room to maneuver.

Berserker sometimes just the map receive dull chess before 1 turn π
Just a simple new area where you can choose between some of handgenerated maps. Also helpfull for a fair way of famefights.
Or the new outposts could be such fix maps.
I dont will miss the random maps (warrant diversification) but i believe handgenerated maps could be really helpfull also for beginners to learn the angles of sight from objects.

I like how the maps are formed in matchs but I think would be a restructuring of the Memorial Boulevard, almost no one plays this map, bad for Megas and Big to 1x1. is almost totally useless.
Could put the map with the dimensions of junkyard and repositioning of some obstacles.

Megas in KOTH are very bad. at the end of the game the map becomes perfect for campers.

men some megas stay decided becus the players start on places of othsers like an level 8 start on front or side of an level 30 2 bad the mega and 2xx2 or 3x3 stay decided because lucky nice idea lukeπ

How can u camp with so many players in that small an area ? when the red zone press a little, the players run to behind the wall and are all in fear of attack.
This leaves a game long and boring.
Not sure if it's always like that, but I played in two Megas Koth, occur is this.
you can try ask BEEmine or Lover. Beemine played a lot of Megas in KOTH

So it's just a tradition, it's not because Memorial is bad (especially since last Memorial update where new obstacles were added).

So it's just a tradition, it's not because Memorial is bad (especially since last Memorial update where new obstacles were added).
And speaking about non-random map - play memorial - it's almost always looks the same. I remember the old days when were thrown Megas in Memorial. But I think the player dont play on Memo due to the current format of map allied whit Red_Zone, the map comes down just one path to a front attack, it emerged the game predictable. Unlike junk that with good tactics the megas can be overcome by taking certain strategic points, It becomes more difficult to perform at the memorial.
On my level 20 - 30, i played on MEMO a lot of fun Megasπ, but it's been a long time that do not play.tradition or not the fact that Memorial is left is irrefutable, and I think that's worth some sort of effort to change that. If you took the megs for JUNK, maybe you can carry it back to Memo.π
returning to the question about maps.
the victory in a mega is 25% of the map, 20% strategy, 20% where the player is formed, 10% luck and 25% of teams.π
A good team and a good strategy overcomes the adversities of the map, and good map and the place where players are formed beats a good team. Luck is a Incognita.
