A good idea, look.
First suggestion:
Clothing!
We had the new update and people are going to be wanting to buy cloths for that reward.
So my idea is.. More clothing.
Examples
Tuxedo - White and Black
Pants - White and Black
A Bow on the back of a unit, a gun strapped to a leg.
A personal shirt -- You write something in a little box after you buy it, it appears little on the shirt. This would be a great seller, i think..
Backward cap hat - If you want to look gangster..
Instead of adding the samething multiple times for colors, why not have a color chart.
Like you press it and up pops a color chart showing you the colors you can pick from.
Units, ok a units primary weapon and secondary weapon are only shown if you change weapons. Why not have the secondary weapon shown also. Like strapped to the back or in a little bag with a slang across your sholder.. Even on the waist, pistols, knifes.
A new map, with traps..
Okay, a fire pit with little traps that do little damage for most players 6 and up.
Small map close to lost beach size.
Only 2x2 allowed, this is what happens
There is little things within the ground that pop out and explode if you get to close.. Its does 5-15 damage, and is not so annoying, only a max # 5 traps allowed on a map, maby less 2-5. And they are set randomly.

Map packs,
You choose a map from a list to play, they can view the map as well..
It shows the map, but very little in size...

I actually love and support the idea of more map "factors" - things that happen on the map regardless of what either team does. These could be small traps or snares like you suggested.
Some other game map addons I've suggested before:
A becon tower: that gives 20 sight in all directons until someone targets it and shoots it out.
A rotating spotlight: that turns 90 degrees every turn, revealing people in its path for a long distance (again, maybe able to be shot and destroyed).
Stationary weapons on map such as a chain gun or artillery: Your unit would have to walk up to that exact square, once on it, an additional option would come up in your inventory down where your health packs are. For 12 AP (and maybe a "heavy artillery" perk), you can shoot a shot in a set direction. These guns would be very interesting because they would be fun fighting hot spots and would encourage people to engage each other even more quickly.
Artillery chests: These chests would contian much higher lvl weapons, premium ammo, higher level granades and mines but they would not be able to be taken with you after the game (flagged like equipment you receive when you start naked). There may only be 2 chest per map and it may or may not be the kind of ammo you need. Therefore people with cash will still buy thier premium ammo, this should not affect that. But it WILL make it fun to go after these chests in a game.
ARTIFACT CHEST: I know you can find arts at random that you can keep. This would be a chest that ALWAYS has an art but would be one you cannot keep when the game ends. This chest may only be on a special map, and would be in the center of the map. Again, it could be a fun tactical "hot spot" to fight over.
Ground effects: Quicksand on desert maps - slows movment to 2AP each step instead of 1 AP. Ice Patches on winter maps - slippery so reduces weapon accuracy when standing on it. Deep grass on jungle maps - allows stealth from normal vision unless scoped or entered by enemy unit (if 4 squares are deep grass, if both units are in the grass at the same time - both can be seen and shot at by anyone) If you want more ground effect ideas for the other maps, i have them. ☺ Just ask.
Whew, another LONG post. Sorry all.

I do think that a premium clothing sale would be a shirt with your guilds logo on it. For the price of a skull cap, i think Enkord could program such a thing and it would maybe sell even better then a skull cap.

It can devalue the arts...to not happen this, the map could be random ... Or, 1 map each 'x' matches....

Awesome ideas guys, although, for the clothing, i would do anything for functional clothing. Like you buy glass's that reduce the effects of flash bang. Gas mask, not only does it look bloody awesome, but it reduces damage done by grenades.
