hi..
been playing gunrox for long time and ever since i started game improved in each upgrade, but there is still something that make is hard for me and im sure to others too. im talking about the game "economics".
right now, game economics is too primitive. what does it mean?
in order to trade items, players have to make exchanges. this method is unpercise, and many trades are being canceled because someone always come out as a loser (giving a good item for lower one).
and it gets more annoying when it comes to arts.
some people that buy cash offer cash for arts or items, but since its illegale to trade cash, the other player must make a "grocery list" for the cash payer, and that can't be more than 1k-1.5k due to space limit.
the way i see it, there are two ways (pretty much alike) to make it better:
1. the first solution in my eye, is to make a tradable that can be found in game in low amounts, and in order to give it a real value, some cash items will be switched to "gold items", and maybe some gold only items to make gaining it attractive.
2. the second way, which i don't think addministrators will acept, is made from two stages:
A. making it possible to find cash ingame.
B. making it possible to trade cash for items.
im sure there are other ways that i didnt think of, and i would like to hear your comments and ideas, but i think the situation right now is annoying - almost every online multiplayer game have a decent economic system. some, like diablo2 is so complicated and delicate that is actualy a mirror-image of the real life (some economic studies have been made on mmorpg by economic researcher btw).
why cant we enjoy a good trading experience too?

There will be no currency in this game. That decision was made way before we started working on gunrox. So take it or leave it, it wont chage.
However speaking about trading arts for cash there is hope. Currently trading arts for cash are neither allowed nor prohibited. Kinda grey area - we do not punish for doing that, but don't do anything if you got scammed in the process - you do it on your own risk.
However I do have plans to make such deals more protected when one person can sell arts for cash to another person officially, some day it will possibly be implemented.
