Cruentus	Fame game exploitation fix idea I have an idea to fix the current (alleged) staging of fame games which make a lot of honest players feel like they cannot compete and there is no point in playing Gunrox anymore. In case you cant be bothered reading the entire bit below- here is a condensed version of what I am about to say: 😁 Fame games should be played in a tournament style each week. (Opposing clans selected at random like in tournament to stop 2 clans fixing a game.) 😁 Teams should be made up of a max combined level of 40-100 (40,41,42..99,100 randomly generated) 😁 Outpost map could be used to set the scene for tourmament battles so that everyone can join and not be restricted by the map. 😁 Fame points awarded according to position finished in tournament and accumulated magic item bonuses. Why not have fame games done to a tournament style system where the game picks a random clan for you clan to go against at a set time each day. Clans play each other randomly and progress via knockout - exactly like the current 1v1 tournament system. Clans should be able to start a fame game earlier than the nominated time just to get it out of the way. This will stop the arranged matches which exploit where the fame points go and will encourage more clans to play fame. Fame points can be distributed according to where a clan finishes in the tournament and bonuses of magic items can be accumulated along the way, adding to the final total. Given that clans may not have high levels and/or low levels, perhaps a randomly generated total team level from 40-100 should be set each week the qualification for teams. Total team levels like 48, 53,61 should be possible, not the static 40, 50, 60 that is set for outposts which make having an exact lvl 30 or a lvl 40 more valuable than having a lvl 31 or a 41. A specific fame map - perhaps the outpost map, should be used so that anyone from a lvl 3 to a lvl 50 can access the map. These ideas are already implemented for gunrox so perhaps tweaking them a bit would make it a lot more fair instead of re-doing the whole system. Advantages: The tournament style system is already sucussfully implemented in gunrox so no huge changes are necessary. Two clans cannot fame each other with a predetermined winner / loser because of the randomness of which clan you will face. A fame tourmanent can be held once a week starting Tuesday and ending Sunday, making it in sync with the fame game week. The random team level generator can ensure that all members of a clan are valuable for playing fame - encouraging participation by everyone and making for some interesting tactical combinations for the levels (ie do u send 5 players of all low levels or 2 players of high levels as a team into the game?) Making people play more often will make Berserker more money (ie - people have to buy equipment before each fight.) Disadvantages: Not sure how the fame game system will work when teams are eligible in an outpost fight. ** Not sure if everyone would like to have a tourment for fame start each week at the same time - more feedback would be needed. First you suggest it, and second many people doesn't play outpost battles, because fixed time.
