Very simple, just use explosives by the door (you can blind throw grenades at them by clicking their icon in the weapon window in-game). Another (but better) method is to pump up your trap skills. If your skill is 10 points or higher than his... your unit can SEE his mines when he's in range! Then you can shoot them to disarm it (and detonate).
