Is there a setting for some people to scratch
I've counted on a piece of paper that sits next to my computer that the first shot with my M60 has scratched the last 10 games in a row?! Plus I do minimum damage 50% of the time. This is starting to get silly.

Every weapon have another adjustment. Higher weapons have better damage but your chance to hit is reduced. So it happens first time you use a new weapon of a skill you just reach you use this weapon with many scratches.
Other point is the differnence between your chance in shortrange or longrange.
For example your chance foor good hit with a snipergun or a mg at is at small range bigger as at long range. Same with shootgun it is better to use this next by enemy. All kind of assault weapons better to use at their maximum range.
Last point could be blindness. If your unit is blind so your chance to hit is reduced. At this time your chance to scratch is very high.
And the last point is just luck.
Alltogether i believe you use your m60 with the minimum skill and mosttime as far as you can. So raise your skill and go some steps closer to the unit you want hit. If your mouse is over an unit of enemy you see the chance to hit and possible damage at this actual situation. So learn to use your weapons at their maximum power and sometimes the luck is at your side.
