That's actually an excellent idea. There are far too many Brazilians in this game thinking everyone who plays Gunrox is Brazilian.

Thats right, and the problem is some of them dont understand one word in english what should be the main-language of the game. Other of them are really communicate.
So i dont want to know their nationality primary but im interested to know the speaking language of the players. This couldn't be only one in difference to the nationality.
For Example, russia, barzil, french, english, german or a few or others like this.

yeah, language is more important than nationality
russian, english, portugese are mainly spoken there, but what to do if somebody know more of them (or all?)

The only reason I don't want to implement nationality/country/language tags is to prevent discrimination based on those. I am afraid that a lot of players (especially young ones) might start to kick players based on their flag.

Thats why i said only the spoken language should be shown. Eventuelly the player could change this at the "Option"-side.
Its a problem in placement if someone spoke many language. So it could be limit of 2 or 3 selections. This should be adequate for the most.

I guess we better add description field visible in player info so anyone can put info about himself including nationality and spoken language if he want to.

I agree with all but had not thought about this, but I felt that it would be more interesting place the nationality ...

For example: If there arise nationality and racism should have punishment ... that would be a way to face the world

Right. Any kind of discrimination is bad for any game. However, people do need to know about where people are from so that there isn't any confusion when it comes to communicating in team games. That's the big conundrum right now: if we implement nationalities, people would understand if they don't know English (or Portuguese for that matter)... but others may use that as a way to discriminate against other players.

I don't understand the question. Players from all over the world are playing gunrox already, and the point is to communicate with other players, right? Your best bet is bad english ☺

Yesterday I played a 3on3, and unfortunately it turned out that both of my teammates were Portugese (ONLY) speaking guys... Team-play normally includes some kind of communication so it can be a problem when people don't understand English at all. The only thing I could really do about such a problem is to ask people if they speak English in the lobby but that would be a little annoying to have to do all the time. Furthermore they could learn that sentence quite fast and just answer "Yes" because the wanted one more player in the game... It is not feasible to give all team-mates a thorough English-test before each game ☺
Maybe some of us players should just try to push this game a lot in the US (as Notorious is willing to do) and the UK so we can get a lot more English speaking players ☺

I like gunrox, but as a team, it's difficult to communicate with its partners, or participate in the forum when evil master English.
Moreover, a French interface could bring a lot of players I think .....
Français

An idea
That's even an obstacle for me when referring friends to gunrox. Since this is a game where you don't play well at first, i suggest them to read the guide. But the guide is 100% english (i dont have time to translate it all and those translator programs sometimes s*).
Please don't put the nationality option, because of discrimination events. I once showed up mine one and a few people started to offend me, which forced me to change my nick. Maybe the main spoken languages, but we can't forget the main one here is english.
I suggest that when the game is so popular that the server starts to overload, Enorkd could make partnerships with regional game distributors so they mantain a server on their language and/or even give more options to buy enkord cash at their countries, as happens with several MMOs. That way the current server will be kept as an international and english-spoken one.

I don't see how it would help if everyone would use different words for things like attrition, weapon, ammo, king of the hill, skills and perks.. I know I don't want for the game to have a finnish (yes I'm a finn) insterface because I prefer using same names for ingame subjects others do.
