Basically it tells other people about your skill and game behaviour. If level shows how much you play, then rank shows how good you are. If you are a private at level 20 then probably you are badly skilled player or a deserter.
i saw many deserters that they play better than a major general like dr paulo or valtorn

I have quit several times but it does not show
I have quit games about 6 or 7 times since i started playing this account.... but it doesn't show.......
i like to quit when my enemy uses arts against me.... if i kill one of their units.. and their turn is about to end on some other turn.... i quit so they cant pick up☺ do the same !! hehe
i guess if you quit like once every couple of weeks the game forgives you....

i saw many deserters that they play better than a major general like dr paulo or valtorn
supposedly valtron quits in the beginning of the game to abort if he does not like the map........ i guess i would do the same but i care about my rank and win/loss ratio
realistic goal it to keep it at 4:1
