this tourney is a sham
i try for 3 hours to get my oppontet to play me, and they refuse. my time i picked was 7am and 11pm. but i get elimated for no show i guess at 3pm. this isnt fair at all. my opponet didnt play me on purpose for this very reason hoping I wouldnt be there. its not fair. its total bullcrap. scared players trying to advance on forfits. i contacted my opponets clan leader and everything trying to get this player to play me when we was both online at same time.

Playing in advance is only an option. Opponent is not obligated to play with you in advance. You have time set picked from what you have chosed and you should have shown up at the specified time if you see your opponent refusing to play with you in advance. Read the rules:

I win 1 tournament of high lvls 2 weaks ago..., and i wake up 2 times in 4 am of morning because my oponents (MART88 and other that i dont remember) only whant to play in hour of game. 😡
And i work all days since 9 am, and 40 klms from my city.
But a Champion like me 😁 have to sacrifice sometimes, sow if you are a champion too, have to wake up and play, and them you revenge all time he make you wait

still doesnt mean this tourney isnt a sham. it just means you have given people a loophole. doesnt make it right. its not like we really picked the time, you did, all we did was put a checkmark in 2 boxes, you picked the time for us. you posted the time in 24 hour format, which only about 1/5 of the population goes by. look i tried my damest to play fair at this game, i try to treat people how i want to be treated, but everytime i turn around the admins and mods are part of the problem, not part of the solution. we turn to you for help, all you do is go in favor of people taking advantage of others. its all good though, i see how you really are and what you stand for. youre like every goverment worker ive ever met, as long as there is a rule to cover your ass, who cares about fairness. as for my opponet, you didnt deserve to go on to the next round, you were scared to fight me, i know it and you know it. as for the devs and mods, hide behind your little pc monitors, with your thumbs up your butts, we dont really need you in this game, youre really of no help to us. WE are the ones that keep this game going, you dont.

Tournaments are there only because they are automated. You have no idea how hard it is to arrange tournament manually, but I do. There are so many people and so many problems - someone just missed time, someone misunderstood, someone didn't showed up, someone brought arts... I spent whole week trying to arrange and run the tournament + 4-5 moderators were there in order to setup fights. And that was for only a small 16-32 persons tournaments. That's where there was no tournaments for a long time until now.
And then we've made it fully automated and nailed down almost every situation that can be possible. Sure, you cant please everyone and quite a number of people will be still upset, but truth is now tournaments became a reality, due to automated nature we can run them non stop as much as we want and as long as people want to play it.
And if you dont like tournaments as they are now you are welcome to describe your own automated system that will please everyone and will rule out any situation automatically. (Don't offer to rule out things manually cause like I said - it's enormous work and will put an end to the tournament completely).

The admins make some special rules for this tourney and everybody must play with this rules.
The first tourneys here was at one special time. Now you have the
choice between 3 times. And you can (you dont must) fight you tourneybattle before your chosen time.
You can see the starttime of your next tourneyround inside the game and the only thing you must do: be ready to start. Its same like all other tourneys all over the world. No soccer player, no olympia participan, no other sportsmen can make his sport at tourney when he want. And every sportsmen is out of tourney if he isn't there when his game starts.
And here you have the additional possibility the play before your official time. If the admins as bad as you said they would drop this possibility 😉 but i hope not. So think about it and noticed what you said here.

again more admin mumbo jumbo. look i know its hard work to run things smoothly when you have 400+ players, but right is right and wrong is wrong no matter how many rules you try to hide behind. and a player refusing to play hoping to advance by default isnt right or fair. dont sit there and make excuses, fix that part, thats really all im asking. its really, really a good concept, but there are still bugs in the system, this just happens to be one of them. the time posted was a deadline, not anything more, why not work on a fix for that part, become part of the solution.

look i was the 2nd or 3rd player to finish my second round match and within 2 hours i had my 3rd round opponet allready and a time set, for within the next 8 hours. when the first day of tourney was 2 days long, thats about 10 hours time shorter from round 1 to round 2. then i see my opponet online for 3 hours, i ask lets play, lets play and they refuse over and over. this player was online for 3 or 4 hours, he/she was only hoping to advance by default. maybe a rule should be if you can play before the deadline then you must. why leave a loophole like that once its been pointed out. why let someone use a bug to advance. for example, can a player use a reward weapon in tourney? its not a magic? but a PB would be nice weapon for a lvl10 -14 tourney.

Fix how?
ok for 1) due to time differences of players from all over the world, more than 1 time for match to be played. 2) due to differences to players ages (some players have school others have jobs while other just stay at home and play all day) something that doesnt overflow into work or school week.if the touney cant be completed over weekend why not make the next round the next weekend. you had over 400+ players who joined tourney,1 weekend just wasnt enough time, it should have carried over til next weekend. 3) if a playeris online and refuses to play(without a good excuse) there should have been someone we could have gone to, to request the match be set. theres 3 ways to try to fix, want more???

1) that's the same as picking up time now, you can safely ignore first time.
2) this will make one tournament last several monts, dont see a reason to do that only because few players can't play daily. can't play daily - dont enter.
3) even if player is online there might be a million reason why he cant play - he might be naked waiting for a clanmate to come online to give him items, he might be tired or just feel bad, he might be busy with something else - chatting with a friend or something.
I am done here cause I dont see you being constructive, only bashing us because you lost tournament and feel upset. I can understand you but you should be mature and have a broader mindset. Sorry, I wont continue this discussion cause you are not open it, all you want is to express your negativity.

i didnt loose, i would have loved to had the chance to though, if i had lost then you would have never heard a peep from me, i can take a loss, but what my opponet did was take advantage of a loophole in the way the tourney is set up. im not bashing anyone, but i found a bug in your tourney setup and youre denying that there is one. even if the other person was busy, chatting, naked, or whatever the reason, saying so would have been enough, but to outright stay online in game for 3 hours and refuse to play til the time set, is taking the coward way out and hopeing that their opponet misses the time set, so they dont even have to fight. i think the people should not be able to advance in touney without fighting to advance. i think if an match doesnt get played for 1 or both persons not showing up then the match should be rescheduled to another time or until the 2 players can get togeather and play, and neither should be able to advance til the match is played or the round is ended. instead of setting a time for a match maybe you should set a time for the round to end and matches have to be played in that time space. round 1) 3/1/2010 07:00-23:59 , round 2) 3/2/2010 07:00-23:59 ect.... then when the round is ended matches not played are DQ'd. plus there should be a mod online for disputes.

even in these kinds of tourneys there are officals that you can talk to about disputes and informations about times, there should atleast be a mod online we can talk to, this might have made a difference.

You set a timepoint and you must play your match at this time.
Your ideas od rules are more bad as the rules of gunrox.

This wants more selections of time, also means you must check more than once if your opponent is online.
Now you chose 2 of 3 timepoints and one of them is chosen by both players so you just should be ready to start at this timepoint. If you and your opponent agree to play you can make your match before this timepoint.
With your rule what happen if you are online at the first timepoint and the opponent isnt there, and at 2nd timepoint your opponent is online but you cant?

Weekend isnt a guarantee for freetime. Just think about family, celebrations like birthday, disco or things like that. This also means just 1 or 2 rounds per week. For example this tourney with 8 rounds wants 4-8 weeks. I cant plan my time at weekend over such a time and im sure my family isnt happy if a planned every weekend with a possible tourneymatch over along a month or more. Remember you cant level up over the border of tourney acess. If you start this tourney with level14 and play till final you lose 4 weeks of experinence and no leveling.

by setting a time for match instead of round to end, this give the player a chance to abuse the time, and get a free win. why should the time be put on a match anyways, this means a timer for each and every match. where as you could simply make 1 timer for round to end. not giving the opponent the excuse ,"ill wait til the time says", and hopeing you dont show up in time for match so they could advance without even fighting.

hi guys ...
now they are talking about the tournament, following ideas for future tournaments.
Place more time to choose. Four or five times to choose from.
Place 1-1 with more equal levels possible in battle. In the tournament I [11] fought with a level 14 early in round 2. If it were like at the end of the tournament low levels uparam .. and children have more chances to go to the final.
