I just remember this thread because the starting discussion about random-matches and because the sad situations to find matches without waiting an hour or more.
BTW. The thread started before the first birthday of open beta and here are just ideas about maps or kinds of battles. I believe your changes at clansystem (thumb up, too) brings much more important changes at gunroxsystem as some of the ideas here. So i thought an inclusion is not impossible.

Initially we planned to add new type of battles, but complete failure of King of the Hill made us dropping that plans.

Hmm ok i really understand. So lets talk about the probably problems of KotH.
The idea is to stay at the area at middle of map and to win this match with a special number of KotH points. You also can win this map if you kill all opponents.
What happen at this kind of battle? Nearly all KotH-matches are won by kill all opponents. Its same as normal matches. 2nd point is you know where the enemy is when he earn a KotH-point. He stay at an open area without protection. If you are close to the middle you can attack him easy. Thats the main reason why most player dont go inside.
But what would happen of you would change the object at middle of map?
Now you just have small fence at corners of KotH-area with no protection of sight and shooting. For example change the fence into a woodwall and you have a better protection of sight. Or better you change this fence into a stonewall and you have better protection of sight and attack. What would happen if this area would be a house with some doors and windows? For example something like the house at memo or the area at beach (look my screens). With such an KotH-area its easier to stay inside and earn KotH-points.
With such a small change maybe this battle is easier to win with the main idea of earning koth-point as to kill all opponents and so maybe this kind of matches becomes more influence and more fun to play again.

i have one idea....in megas players desconect and lost game...
its bad players desconect in megas..but i have one idea...all player one team select one player you time and he moviment player desconect...😲
🙄but your screen would be divided into two parts, one part with their dolls and their movements and the other player disconnected, however the player would not play the other items on the ground to prevent theft!: P

if you put any fence around it wont be better it will be more worst for example imagin this game is not a 1x1 game its a mega then if from one team even one player go in and the other block the door or the way in then that team win so its better not to put any fence its my idea ☺☺

I think that the reason its so hard to score points , is scoring requires that
you will stay inside this zone.
what about changing it so you will score a point when entered (in middle of
the turn and can score 1 time per unit per turn).

Koth variation
I would like to see a variation on the koth game where the koth scoring zone is random generated on the map so first u must find it and as soon as a point is scored it moves to another random generated position. This zone would have no fence , would only be 3x3 squares and could appear out in the open or inside buildings. I think this would be fun 1v1 and in group games.

You could do this with old KofH-area too, there was same ways inside the zone. With my suggestion i just believe you could survive inside the KotH-Area better than before and maybe the fight will center around this zone but always with possiblities to hide.
But i also like the suggestion of smell. Sounds good and could work too.

New KotH type Game..
2 teams, 1 red team and 1 blue team.
* for 4 rounds red team must get all units to random KotH zone, blue team must stop them.
* if player die they out of the 4 rounds/turns but come back alive when sides switch over.
*red team must get to zone, blue team must stop.
Then for 4 rounds/turns blue team must get to random KotH zone and team team must stop them.
* Now blue teams turn to get to zone, red team must stop them.
* all players come back alive for new round.
* 4 stages, red, blue, red, blue.. winner = most points at the end.
* 3 points for each unit that reach KotH zone.

i think that can be good;
- king of the hill when you go on random game (you can get normal 1x1 team or 1x1 koth when both players are on junkyard)
- free for all when you go on random game and more same_levels_players are already want to play random game..
how do u think? is this possible? i think it will be more fun with this .. 😉
