What to do if you don't understand?
What should you do if somebody says something to you in a foreign language you don't understand, but you can't use a translator, such as during a game (I find my programs take too long to switch effectivel during a game without missing enemy moves, etc.)?
Usually if I have time, like in the lobby (if that's what it's called), I use a phrase such as:
"Désolé, je ne parle pas français, mais je peux parler en anglais."
or
"Arrependido , Não falo português , mas Eu posso falar Inglês."
(both mean 'Sorry, I do not speak , but I can speak English', however badly translated they might be)
I have a small list of languages for that now, I try it so often, but sometimes they carry on and I haven't a clue what they are saying. 😕
What should I do then?
